Launch Complex Highlights

• 30 January 1957 - Construction contract awarded
• 1957 - Construction started
• 1 July 1958 - Construction completed
• 5 February 1959 - Air Force accepted the launch complex
• Blockhouse is similar to those of the Atlas complexes except that it has a second interior floor
• 6 February 1959 - First Titan I launch
• 29 September 1960 - Last Titan I launch
• Total Titan I launched - 10
• Complex 15 initially stored liquid oxygen and RP-1 as propellants for the Titan I and had to be converted to accommodate the Titan II, using Nitrogen Tetroxide for the oxidizer and Hydrazine blend known as Aerozine 50 for fuel.
• 7 June 1962 - First Titan II launch
• 6 February 1963 - First military "blue suit" Titan II launch
• 9 April 1964 - Last Titan II launched
• Total Titan II launched - 16
• March 1967 - Complex deactivated
• 13 June 1967 - Sold for salvage
• June 1967 - Pad dismantled
• November 2012 to February 2013 - Blockhouse demolished
