Launch Complex Highlights
- June 1958 - Construction began
- July 1959 - Equipment installation began
- 6 June 1960 - Site accepted
- Single silo and above ground Launch Control building
to test and confirm operating ground equipment
compatibility
- 16 October 1960 - Titan I, VS-2, installed
- 3 December 1960 - Missile exploded and fell to the
bottom of the silo fully loaded with RP-1 and LOX
- The site was never repaired
