Visit the Museum - The museum at Launch Complex 26 is accessible to the general public via a special bus tour called "Cape Canaveral Early Space Tour" that originates from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The two and one-half hour tour includes a tour of the museum and stops at several historic sites on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The tour runs 5 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) launch schedule permitting. There is a fee for the tour.
Museum Virtual Tour - If you are unable to visit the museum in person, please try our Virtual Tour. Most exhibits are included in the virtual tour.
NOTE: There was a time when the museum was a part of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station tour sponsored by the 45th Space Wing and offered to the general public. Budget constraints forced termination of those tours in June 2013. Please direct comments to the 45th Space Wing Public Affairs Office using their online contact form.
Cape Employees - If you work on the Cape or at Kennedy Space Center, the museum grounds are open to you seven days a week. Entry into the Blockhouse and Annex building available during tour hours (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun 12:00 to 14:00 approx) and when the Museum Director is on the grounds. Admission to the museum is free. Photography is allowed and encouraged. Bring your lunch and enjoy the historic surroundings. Picnic tables, restrooms, gift shop (limited hours) and soft drink machine are on site. From Phillips Parkway, follow Lighthouse Road toward SLC-17 and look for the museum sign at Complex 26. The museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Many military installations routinely permit entry to active duty military, military retirees, government civilian employees and their dependents with proper identification. This is not the case at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Cape is a restricted work area and access is permitted only to badged employees and authorized visitors. This page describes the ways to visit museum facilities.
